The National Security Advisor, Qasim Al-Araji, met today, on the sidelines of the twelfth meeting of senior officials on security issues, held in the Russian city of Saint Petersburg, the National Security Advisor to the Presidency of the Syrian Republic, Major General Ali Mamlouk. According to a statement by the Chancellery, the meeting witnessed a review of the latest developments in the security situation in the region, their repercussions on security and stability, and ways to enhance security and intelligence cooperation between the two countries.
