Yemeni air defenses shoot down an American plane in the airspace of Marib governorate. The Yemeni Armed Forces explained in a statement that the air defenses shot down an American MQ9 aircraft on Thursday evening while it was carrying out hostile actions in the airspace of Marib. The statement stated that the plane targeted by a locally made surface-to-air missile. It pointed out that this the fourth plane that was shot down during the Battle of the Promised Conquest. The statement affirmed the full readiness of the armed forces at all levels on land, sea and air, and that all enemy attempts will fail and the armed forces will be on the lookout for it.
