Aid distribution begins for displaced families in Marib’s Serwah, Rahba districts

MARIB - SABA: The Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation (SCMCHA) initiated on Tuesday a crucial shelter aid project in Marib province. The project aims to support 728 families across the districts of Serwah and Rahba, who have been displaced or affected by ongoing conflicts. In Serwah district, 422 families will receive assistance, while 306 families in Rahba district are set to benefit from the aid. The General Organization of Yemeni Social and Psychological Specialists is facilitating the distribution process. Saleh al-Sharif, director of the SCMCHA branch in Marib, emphasized the Council's commitment to addressing the needs of displaced and conflict-affected individuals throughout the province. He called upon international and UN organizations to join efforts in alleviating the suffering of these vulnerable groups. Director of Serwah district Murai al-Amiri underscored the critical nature of intensifying humanitarian activities. He stressed the importance of meeting basic needs and supporting displaced and impoverished families, particularly given the challenging circumstances currently facing the region.
