Agriculture, Fisheries Minister meets with Al-Jawf Governor

Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, Dr. Radwan Al-Rubai, met today in Sana'a with Al-Jawf Governor Faisal Haider. The meeting discussed aspects of cooperation and coordination to advance the agricultural sector in the governorate, encourage farmers to expand agriculture, and reclaim agricultural lands to contribute to raising the productivity of basic crops and thus help reduce the import bill. The meeting stressed the need to combine efforts to enhance community awareness and mobilize energies to advance the agricultural sector in the governorate, and encourage agricultural initiatives and projects. He touched on the importance of benefiting from the capabilities available to various entities operating in the governorate to expand agriculture and work to reclaim larger areas and increase agricultural production.
