The Israeli army began its preparations for a large military operation in Rafah, and called on civilians and displaced Palestinians to evacuate the east of the city. Israeli army spokesman Avichai Adraee said on the 'X' platform: Residents of eastern Rafah must evacuate those areas, and go 'immediately' to an 'expanded humanitarian area' in Al-Mawasi area in Khan Yunis,' warning against 'returning to northern Gaza or approaching the eastern and southern security fence.' Meanwhile, Arab reports confirmed that the neighborhoods that the occupation army called for to be evacuated east of the city of Rafah were subjected to violent bombardment last night, targeting about 11 homes, and that a large number of Palestinians are still under the rubble of these homes. Reports confirm that the areas that the occupation claims are 'humanitarian' and calls for people to move to, in Khan Yunis and Al-Mawasi, are destroyed and it is not possible to set up tents in them. They also cannot accommodate large numbers of displ aced people, as according to estimates there are about 100,000 civilians in the area that will be evacuated in Rafah, eastern areas of Rafah include some strategic places, such as the Rafah crossing, which is the only crossing through which residents can travel, as well as Abu Youssef Al-Najjar Hospital, which is full of injured people.
