The anti-smuggling unit, the customs police, and representatives of the Security and Intelligence Service at Afar customs center in Al Bayda province foiled an attempt to smuggle a large quantity of medicines. The center's director, Fahd Hazza, explained that the seized quantity contained 26,336 packages of smuggled medicines, indicating that the seized quantities were hidden inside a tank under the structure of a refrigerator transporting food supplies coming from areas controlled by the aggression countries. Hazza stressed that the center will not be lax in seizing smuggled goods and materials that are not authorized to enter the country in the interest of the nation and the health and safety of citizens.
