Gaza - Ma'an - The military spokesman for the Qassam Brigades, Abu Obeida, placed full blame on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Israeli army for the killing of the Israeli prisoners. Abu Obeida explained in a statement received by Ma'an: "Netanyahu's deliberate obstruction of any prisoner exchange deal for narrow personal purposes, in addition to directly targeting them through air strikes, makes them fully responsible for the deaths of these prisoners." Abu Obeida confirmed that "new instructions were issued to the mujahideen assigned to guard the prisoners following the Nuseirat incident, regarding how to deal with the prisoners if the Israeli army approaches their detention sites." He pointed out that Netanyahu's insistence on freeing the prisoners by military force instead of concluding an exchange deal will lead to their return to their families in coffins. Abu Ubaida warned the families of the prisoners that they would have to choose between receiving them dead or alive. Source: Maan News Agency
