Ramallah - Ma'an - President Mahmoud Abbas chaired a meeting of security chiefs at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah on Wednesday evening, in the presence of Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa and Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Palestinian Security Forces, Lieutenant General Ismail Jaber. The President listened to reports from the security service leaders and the efforts made by the security establishment to maintain security and safety. The President issued instructions to the leaders of the security services to increase the measures taken to maintain the security and safety of the Palestinian citizen, and to implement the rule of law, in a way that preserves the dignity of the Palestinian citizen, praising the efforts of the security establishment made in light of the difficult circumstances that the country is experiencing. The action plan prepared by the Executive Committee to go to the Gaza Strip to stop the aggression was also discussed, in accordance with the initiative announced by the Pr esident to go to the Gaza Strip with members of the Palestinian leadership to stop the aggression against our people and protect them.
