The caretaker Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs - Minister of Finance, Dr. Rashid Abboud Abu Lahoum, and the Governor of Ibb, Abdul Wahed Salah, inspected today,Sunday, the progress of work on Qahza Mashura Road project in center of the province . The project, which is four kilometers and 500 meters long and 14 meters wide, at a cost of 800 million riyals, funded by the Road Maintenance Fund and implemented by the General Organization for Roads and Bridges, consists of concrete paving of the collapsed sections and asphalt restoration, with the work of an additional layer with a completion rate of 50 percent. Dr. Abu Lahoum and Governor Salah, along with Member of the parliament Dr. Ali Al-Zenm, were also briefed on the progress of work on the project to restore and maintain the Ibb Baadan Road, five kilometers long and seven meters wide, at a cost of 450 million riyals, funded by the Road Maintenance Fund, with a completion rate of 90 percent. The work progress completed in the collapsed sections project in Qahza region was reviewed, which is being implemented by the Executive Unit for Road Construction with the support of the Road Construction Fund at a cost of 100 million riyals, with a completion rate of 90 percent. The Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs - Minister of Finance and Governor of Ibb inspected the progress of work on the rehabilitation project of Al Majd Al-Jwazat Road Project, 600 meters long, at a cost of 75 million riyals, with a completion rate of 85 percent, as well as Baadan Road Project, 800 meters long, at a cost of 114 million riyals, with local funding for the two projects, with a completion rate. 95 percent implementation of the executive unit for road construction and maintenance under the supervision of the Public Works Office for all projects.
