Abu Holi and Al-Hassan discuss the results of the recommendations of the Independent Review Committee of UNRWA’s work

Member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization and Head of the Refugee Affairs Department, Dr. Ahmed Abu Houli, met with the Chairman of the Lebanese-Palestinian Dialogue Committee, Dr. Basil Al-Hassan, and presented the fierce attack facing UNRWA, including legal, political and financial targeting. The two parties agreed to prepare a joint study of the report of the head of the group charged with conducting an independent review of the work of UNRWA, Ms. Catherine Colonna. In preparation for presentation at the Advisory Committee meetings at the end of this June. Dr. Abu Houli presented Dr. Al-Hassan in the form of the final statement of the conference of supervisors of refugee affairs, and the importance of taking practical steps in order to protect the agency and facilitate the lives of refugees.
