Security forces arrested a wanted suspect in several cases, most notably tribal attacks. The Ministry of Interior stated in a statement: "The detachments of the Baghdad Al-Rusafa Police Command, represented by (Al-Sadr Police Department), in coordination with the detachments of the Intelligence Agency, arrested a wanted suspect in accordance with the provisions of Article (431) for shooting at a house, where the suspect was followed through surveillance cameras and using technical effort and available sources to find out his whereabouts, and with a tight ambush he was arrested." It added: "Upon investigation, he confessed to carrying out 13 tribal raids in the areas of (Cairo, Al-Salihiyah, Sadr City, Al-Amin, and Al-Bunuk District). He also confessed to stealing mobile phones from students in Al-Bunuk District. He was placed in detention to complete the legal procedures." Source: National Iraqi News Agency
