Istanbul, The Israeli police announced that a Turkish tourist stabbed an Israeli border police officer in Al-Quds on Tuesday before he was shot dead by police at the scene. The Turkish TRT channel quoted the Israeli police as saying that the police officer suffered several stab wounds from a knife carried by the Turkish tourist, and that his injury was moderate, and that the Turkish attacker was called Hassan Saclanan, who was 34 years old. The Israeli police indicated that a border policeman was standing next to the Israeli officer when the incident occurred, and that he opened fire on the Turkish attacker, which led to his death.
