The Federal Police forces arrested a wanted suspect in terrorism cases north of Baghdad. The Ministry of Interior stated in a statement: "Within the ongoing security efforts of the Federal Police units to implement arrest warrants issued by the competent courts and pursue those wanted by the judiciary, and in a tight ambush and according to intelligence information, a force from the 19th Brigade of the 5th Division of the Federal Police arrested a wanted suspect according to the provisions of Article (4 Terrorism) in Rashidiya area north of Baghdad, and the accused was referred to the competent authorities."
