Basra police patrols arrested a suspect in his possession of a weapon and wanted for a murder crime. The Basra Police Command stated in a statement, "One of the patrols of the Maqal Rescue Sector was able to arrest a suspect in his possession of a pistol illegally. It added, "After examining and verifying the identity of the suspect, it was found that he is wanted by the judiciary according to the provisions of Article 406 of the Iraqi Penal Code, for committing a previous murder.
