Baghdad Operations Command forces arrested an accused of shooting at security forces patrols and seized weapons and ammunition inside his vehicle in Al-Mada'in District, southeast of Baghdad. The command stated in a statement that: "While unknown persons riding a "pick-up" type vehicle opened fire on one of the patrols of the First Division of the Federal Police during duty, and fled, the perpetrators were immediately pursued and the area of the incident was cordoned off. After a thorough search and investigation, one of the perpetrators was reached and arrested, and the weapons and ammunition that were inside his vehicle were seized in Al-Buthila area / Al-Mada'in District, southeast of Baghdad." It added: "Our security forces are still pursuing the other accused to take legal action against them." Source : National Iraqi News Agency
