The Baghdad Operations Command carried out, at dawn on Saturday, a security operation to search and inspect areas south of Baghdad. The Command stated in a statement: 'The units of the Baghdad Operations Command, through the formations of the 17th Infantry Division and the units attached to it, and with the support of agencies and intelligence services, began implementing a security operation for search, inspection, and armed reconnaissance in the areas of (Al-Latifiyah, Al-Rashid, Al-Yusufiyah, Al-Qasr district, and Al-Ridhwaniyah Al-Sharqiyah) and the surrounding villages and countryside, south of Baghdad.'
