Baghdad: A pilot was killed on Friday in a plane crash in the Mediterranean Sea during an air show in France. The French Authorities said in a statement that a pilot died after a /Fuga Master/ plane he was flying crashed in the Mediterranean Sea during an air show in /La Fondo/ in the south of the country, noting that his body was recovered. It added that it had opened an investigation to determine the causes of the accident, noting that the air show was part of the commemoration of the eightieth anniversary of the landing of the Allied forces in the "Provence" region. The accident comes only two days after two French military planes collided in the east of the country, resulting in the death of two soldiers, while another one survived.
