On Friday evening, the occupation police evacuated settlers from the Al-Khalidi family property in Old Jerusalem, after storming and seizing it. The Israeli Magistrate's Court issued a decision to immediately evict the settlers from the property on Friday morning, and after hours of procrastination, the police implemented the decision to evict the settlers. The Khalidi family changed the locks on the property, keeping the keys, on the condition that the property not be used until the court session is held next Sunday and the ownership issue is decided. Lawyer Sanaa Dweik confirmed that the property is a family endowment of the Khalidi family and cannot be sold. Yesterday, settlers stormed it, removed the locks, and changed them under false and baseless claims. She added that next Sunday, during the session, all documents and papers confirming ownership of the property will be presented. The police were present in the vicinity of the property over the past hours, removing residents from the place, preven ting them from approaching it, and detained one of the young men. The property consists of 3 floors (200 square meters), is located a few meters away from Al-Aqsa Mosque, and has a direct view of Al-Buraq Square Source: Maan News Agency
