The New Generation Parliamentary Bloc called on the government, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and the Iraqi judiciary to hold accountable officials who exploit their jobs through personal mediation. The Head of the bloc, MP Sarwa Abdel Wahed, said in a press statement today, Monday, 'When the Ministry of Foreign Affairs distributes the diplomatic passport to fascists and bloggers without heartache, and they threaten each other in the name of senior officers and officials without taking action, they will certainly go further and may kidnap each other as well.' She added, 'The government, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, and the Iraqi judiciary are all facing responsibility and must hold accountable the party, military, or government official who exploits his position for the personal mediation of bloggers and fascists.'
