Baghdad, Detachments of the Anti-Crime Directorate arrested a foreign national on charges of forging entry visas for foreign workers in exchange of money in Baghdad. The directorate stated in a statement: 'Detachments of the Baghdad Anti-Crime Directorate/Karada Office arrested a person of Pakistani nationality, on charges of forging entry visas for foreign workers in exchange for sums of money within Al-Bataween area in central Baghdad.' The statement added: 'The directorate's detachments arrested a number of those accused of stealing sums of money, residential homes, commercial stores, and motorcycles, within the anti-crime offices on the Karkh and Rusafa sides of the capital, Baghdad, where legal measures were taken against them and brought to justice.'
