Baghdad Operations Command forces arrested a number of suspects for various criminal offenses in different areas of Baghdad. The Command stated in a statement that the detachments of the Baghdad Joint Operations Command arrested a number of suspects, including two suspects, one of whom was carrying 16 annuals and the second was carrying 14 stamps without authorization, and others for crimes (criminal, drug promotion and use, possession of unlicensed weapons) and seized various types of unlicensed weapons and a thermal camera, along with a quantity of narcotic substances and their use devices and expired medicines, and a number of wheels and motorcycles violating traffic controls. He explained that these duties came through the installation of "temporary" surprise checkpoints on both sides of Karkh and Rusafa. Source: National Iraqi News Agency
