A Lebanese soldier was martyred today, Monday, in a bombing by a Zionist drone in southern Lebanon. The Lebanese army announced in a statement the martyrdom of one of the soldiers as a result of a Zionist entity drone targeting a motorcycle at the army's /Omra-Wazzani/ checkpoint. On the other hand, the National News Agency reported the martyrdom of two civilians at the /Khiam/ junction and the injury of two others on the outskirts of /Sarda Orchards/ after they were targeted in three raids by occupation drones. Today, the Zionist warplanes launched raids on the towns of Yaroun, Umm al-Tut, and al-Jabin, while the towns of Maroun al-Ras and Marjeyoun Plain were subjected to artillery shelling. Earlier, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that the death toll from yesterday's Zionist aggression on Ain al-Delb, east of Sidon, had risen to 45 martyrs and 70 wounded. The ministry added in a later statement that the Zionist entity's raids last night on Hermel resulted in 12 martyrs and 20 wounded. Leban on is being subjected to extensive Zionist attacks targeting border villages and infrastructure, which led to the killing and wounding of thousands of Lebanese, in addition to forcing hundreds of thousands of residents of the targeted areas to flee, as the Zionist entity escalated its air and artillery attacks on various Lebanese governorates and regions in conjunction with its ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7th.
