Babylon Police Command announced today, Friday, the arrest of a killer hours after committing his crime in the governorate. The Command said in a statement, "In a qualitative security operation carried out by the security forces in Babylon Governorate, Babylon Police Command detachments from the Rafidain Police Department - Al-Mashrou Police Station, and North Babylon Crime Control - Al-Mashrou Division, in cooperation with detachments from the 22nd Federal Police Brigade, Babylon Intelligence and Security, Kutha Intelligence Department, and the Third Babylon Emergency Regiment, were able to arrest a killer a few hours after he committed a murder and injured another person in a quarrel that took place in the Jableh district, north of the governorate." It added, "The security forces identified the killer, surrounded the area where he was hiding, and set up tight ambushes to arrest him and seize the weapon used in the crime. They were able to arrest the killer in record time and take the necessary legal meas ures against him." Source: National Iraqi News Agency
