A kidnapped person released and the kidnappers arrested in Al-Karkh, Baghdad

The Baghdad Operations Command announced the release of a kidnapped person and the arrest of the kidnappers on 'Ibn Mandour Street' in side of Baghdad. The command stated in a statement that with accurate information from the National Security Service and field follow-up, a joint force from the Eighth Brigade, Second Division, Federal Police, in coordination with the Command's Intelligence and Security Department, was able to free a kidnapped person and arrest three of his suspected kidnappers. This came after their location was revealed and monitored their movements and a precise ambush were set up for them. They were arrested and the vehicle in their possession was seized, within 'Ibn Mandour' Street in Al-Karkh. Source: National Iraqi News Agency
