A joint force from the Nineveh Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces carried out, on Wednesday, a security operation deep in the Hatra Island, south of Nineveh Governorate. The joint force conducted searches and security checks there, and the operation resulted in the finding of a number of tunnels and explosive devices left behind by the terrorist ISIS, which were detonated by anti-explosives detachments. This operation comes with the aim of maintaining security and stability, preserving the safety of civilians, and searching for the remnants of the terrorist 'ISIS' within the areas of the sector of responsibility.
