A joint force from the Popular Mobilization Forces and the security forces carries out a security operation east of Nineveh

A joint force from the Nineveh Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces and the security forces carried out, on Sunday, a large-scale security operation to pursue the remnants of the terrorist "ISIS" and enhance security and stability in the areas of eastern Nineveh. The operations, intelligence and media departments, the 21st and 59th brigades within the Nineveh Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces, the Intelligence and Information Assistant, the Explosives Engineering, Media and Communications, the Medical Department, the 16th Army Division, the Nineveh Police Command, and all security agencies participated in the operation. The operation included searching the valleys, the central islands, and the villages of (Al-Hasoudiya, Kahara, Al-Adala, Al-Mukhlat). The Popular Mobilization Forces Command in Nineveh, in cooperation with the security services, continues its preemptive operations to prevent any terrorist attempt targeting the security and safety of citizens.
