A fire devoured a number of homes in Al-Bakrli area of Hillah city today, Sunday, due to a farmer setting fire to an orchard adjacent to the homes. Civil Defense Media Director Aqil Abdullah said, "A fire broke out in an orchard in the Al-Bakrli area of Hillah city due to a farmer burning grass, causing the fire to lose control and spread to homes adjacent to the orchard without any injuries. He added that the Civil Defense teams were able to extinguish it and that the police opened an investigation." Source: National Iraqi News Agency
