The National Intelligence Service in Wasit, in cooperation with the Intelligence Service and the district police detachments, arrested a drug dealer in Al-Suwaira district, north of the governorate. Wasit Police Commander, Major General Mohammed Qasim Al-Fahd, told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / that a large quantity of drugs was seized in the possession of the accused. He added that legal measures were taken against him and he was arrested in accordance with the provisions of Articles 28 and 32 of Narcotics and referred to the competent court.
