The Directorate stated in a statement: 'The anti-crime detachments in the Abu Gharq district, west of Hilla, the center of Babylon Governorate, arrested a drug addict who attempted to rob a pharmacy in the district by threatening to use a sharp object, trying to steal medical drugs and psychotropic substances.' It added: 'The accused was arrested red handed, and it was found that he was a drug user and wanted by the judiciary on previous charges. He was handed over to the competent authorities.
