Security forces seized a den for smuggling petroleum derivatives and arrested a suspect in Anbar. A statement by the Ministry of Interior stated: A force from the Second Brigade, Energy Police, seized a den for smuggling petroleum derivatives in the Heet district of Anbar Governorate, and arrested a suspect who was present inside the den, and found fuel tanks of different sizes and capacities, which were a cylindrical metal tank measuring ( (3 meters x 180 cm) (2), a cylindrical metal tank measuring (5 meters ), and other seizures related to oil refinery and refining operations, where the accused was placed in detention and the site was secured by the force until official approvals were obtained to remove the seized items.
