A car parked in front of a house in a residential complex exploded at dawn today, Friday, in the village of Al-Ghadir, north of Najaf Governorate. A Najaf police source said, 'The car, a BMW, exploded as a result of a (home-made bomb) being thrown at it by two people riding a motorcycle.' The source explained, "The police chief directed the formation of an investigative committee to look into the circumstances of the accident, which did not cause human casualties.
