The General Directorate of Narcotics Affairs of the Ministry of Interior announced today, Wednesday, the seizure of 98 kilograms of narcotics and the arrest of their dealers in the governorates of Anbar, Salah al-Din, Basra, Maysan and Nineveh. The Directorate said in a statement: "Based on the direct intelligence directives of the Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir al-Shammari, and on the ground and under the supervision of the Director General, Major General Ahmed al-Zarkani, (71) kilograms of Captagon and Tramadol narcotics were seized in Anbar and Salah al-Din and their dealers were arrested." It continued, "(27) kilograms of crystal narcotics were seized in Basra, Maysan and Nineveh and their dealers were arrested." Source: National Iraqi News Agency
