89th Presidential Protection Brigade commemorates Imam Hussein, peace be upon him martyrdom

The leadership of the 89th Infantry Brigade, Presidential Protection, organized a cultural and awareness event to commemorate the Imam Hussein, peace be upon him - martyrdom Ashura, under the slogan, 'Humiliation is far from us.' During the event, which was attended by the Commander of the 2nd Presidential Protection Brigade, Brigadier General Khaled Al-Jabri, the Commander of the 89th Brigade, Brigadier General Abdullah Al-Hamzi, stated that the Yemeni people commemorate Ashura in conjunction with their steadfast, and supportive position for the Palestinian people in their revolution against tyrants and arrogant powers, following the example of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him. Brigadier General Al-Hamzi urged people to draw inspiration from the life, sacrifice and courage of Imam Hussein in the face of injustice and tyranny and reflect them on the reality that the nation is experiencing in invasion and occupation forces' face . While the 89th Brigade's guidance pillar, Colonel Muhammad Rafaan, explained t hat Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, faced the tyrants' distortion of the approach of the Messenger of God, may God bless him , his family and grant them peace. He pointed out that history repeats itself and everyone must know the methodology of Imam Hussein and his family, peace be upon them. He considered the commemoration of this anniversary a station to recall the painful incident against the Messenger of God family , may God's prayers and peace be upon him and his family, with the lessons it carries for the nation people .
