Al-Amara: A citizen in Maysan Governorate found various artifacts near one of the archaeological sites in the Bataira district. A statement by the Maysan Police Command stated that "a citizen in the governorate was able to find (80) diverse artifacts near one of the archaeological sites in the Bataira district, northwest of the governorate." The statement added: "The citizen handed over the artifacts to the competent authorities, and organized an official report on the seized items and handed them over to the Maysan Antiquities and Heritage Inspectorate."
