Gaza - Ma'an - At least eight citizens were killed and dozens were injured on Saturday evening in Israeli air and artillery shelling of various areas in the Gaza Strip, concentrated in the south and center. Local sources reported that ambulance and civil defense crews recovered the bodies of 3 martyrs in the occupation's bombing of the Khirbet al-Adas area north of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip, and another martyr in the occupation's drone bombing of the Araba area in the north. She added that the occupation artillery shelled the vicinity of Al-Awawdeh roundabout in Block 6 in Al-Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip, which led to the death of a citizen and the injury of others. To the north, the occupation warplanes bombed a residential building belonging to the Abu Ras family in the vicinity of the Candle Mosque in the Al-Zaytouna neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, which led to the martyrdom of three citizens, including two children, and the injury of others. The occupation artillery shelled the vicinity of Ain Jalut School in the Hassan al-Banna area in the al-Zeitoun neighborhood. The occupation warplanes targeted the Al-Faluja communications area west of Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip, coinciding with violent shelling and continuous raids by warplanes on Jabalia Al-Balad and Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip. Medical sources stated that ambulance and emergency crews transferred 9 injured people to the Indonesian Hospital after they were targeted by an occupation drone at Abu Sharkh roundabout, north of the Strip. In a preliminary toll, the number of martyrs since the beginning of the occupation's aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7 has risen to 41,825, most of whom are children and women, while the number of wounded has reached more than 96,000.
