The 76th Frankfurt International Book Fair opened Tuesday in the German city of Frankfurt, with the participation of more than a thousand writers and speakers in 650 events on 15 platforms. The Frankfurt International Book Fair, which continues until October 20, is an international meeting place for a wide range of writers, authors and readers. The Italian pavilion, which is the guest of honor of this year's edition, will be inaugurated today, and the exhibition will officially open its doors on Wednesday, to specialized visitors, then entry will be available to the public starting next Friday. The most prominent event at the end of the exhibition will be next Sunday, with the awarding of the Peace Prize of the German Book Trade to American historian Anne Applebaum.
