Seven professors from Yarmouk University appeared in the world's top 2% scientists at the specialization level for the year 2024, according to the updated rating database, issued by Stanford University and the international publishing house "Elsevier." The researchers are Dr. Ala'a Jabali from the Faculty of Pharmacy, the late Dr. Muhammad Daradkeh and Dr. Bilal Abdul-Ghani from Faculty of Information Technology and Computer Science, and Dr. Muaweih Khatatbeh from the Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Hazem Shakhatreh from Al-Hijjawi College of Engineering Technology, Dr. Muhammad Habis from the Faculty of Media, and Dr. Mahmoud Qudah from the Faculty of Science also appeared in the list. In press remarks, the university president, Dr. Islam Massad, expressed pride in this "qualitative" research achievement by its faculty members. Massad also noted the university's interest paid to scientific research, as a main goal of its vision within sustainable development aimed to contribute to build a knowledge society.
