Federal Police forces arrested (7) suspects in various cases and seized unlicensed weapons and expired meat east of Baghdad. The Ministry of Interior stated in a statement: "The security effort of the Fifth Federal Police Division, in cooperation with the intelligence effort detachments and the security forces operating within the areas of responsibility, resulted in the arrest of (7) suspects according to the legal articles (kidnapping, quarrel, violation) in the areas of (Tariq neighborhood, Al-Shaoura, Al-Daseem, Al-Orfali, Al-Rashidiya) and the seizure of (two Kalashnikov rifles, a pistol, in addition to a Toyota Land Cruiser vehicle with a seizure notice issued by the Rusafa Traffic Directorate)". It added: "It was also seized and destroyed expired meat inside a refrigerator in Sadr City of unknown origin, with traces of fraud by manufacturers and changing the characteristics." It pointed out: "The accused were referred with the seized materials to the competent authorities to complete the investigativ e and legal procedures against them." Source: National Iraqi News Agency
