The security forces in Maysan arrested 7 defendants wanted for terrorist crimes in Al-Majar Al-Kabir district, south of the governorate.
The Maysan Operations Command said in a statement, a copy of which was received by the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA): “A force from the Second Regiment, 97th Infantry Brigade of the Operations Command, in cooperation with Al-Zahraa Police Station and Al-Majar Police, was able to arrest (6) defendants wanted in accordance with the provisions of Article (4) of terrorism, and another accused in accordance with the provisions of Article (406) premeditated murder, indicating that the accused will be handed over to the competent authorities.”
