SANA'A August 04. 2024 (Saba) - The Industry and Trade Office in the capital Sana'a, destroyed on Sunday 69 tons and 670 kilograms of various spoiled and expired food items. Majed al-Sada, Director of the Industry Office, said that the destruction was conducted following legal procedures and in the presence of a member of the Industry and Trade Prosecution Office. Al-Sada emphasized the importance of strengthening monitoring of food and consumer goods and addressing price and supply violations. He urged all merchants to cooperate with the Industry Office and its branches in the districts. Al-Sada encouraged the people to report and surrender expired and spoiled goods, so the office can take appropriate measures to ensure consumer protection. Source: Yemen News Agency
