"Four in five school buildings in Gaza have been directly hit or damaged. They need to be rebuilt or fixed to be used as schools," he said on a X. 9,936 students have been killed and 15,897 others injured since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, according to the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
