Manila, An earthquake measuring 5.4 magnitude on the Richter scale hit the city of Karamay in the Philippines. The earthquake occurred 98 km east of Karamay, at a depth of 13.3 km, the US Geological Survey said. There have been no reports of casualties or material damage due to the earthquake. A 6-magnitude earthquake struck an island in the central Philippines on May 3, without causing any human or material losses.
