Turmus Ayya: Israeli occupation forces seized a house in the town of Turmus Ayya, north of Ramallah, at dawn on Wednesday and turned it into a military barracks. Turmus Ayya Mayor Lafi Adeeb reported that the forces stormed the town after midnight, raiding the house of citizen Montaser Naji Salama, which is situated opposite Turmus Ayya Boys' School. The homeowners were forced to vacate the premises, which were subsequently converted into a military barracks. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the incident follows the arrest of Salama's son, Naji Muntaser, who was detained by the same forces a week ago. The occupation of the house has heightened tensions in the area, where the presence of military forces has been a recurrent issue. The transformation of residential spaces into military facilities has drawn criticism from local and international observers concerned about the impact on civilian life and property rights.
