Baghdad, Minister of Migration and Displacement Evan Faiq Jabro announced the return of (466) displaced persons from Hassan Sham U2 camp in Erbil Governorate to their original areas of residence in Nineveh Governorate, in coordination with the Nineveh Operations Command, as part of the ministry's plan to end the displacement file in the country and in line with the government program. The minister directed, in a statement, "the ministry's cadres to include returning families with financial grants, relief aid and durable goods to support stability in the areas of return," stressing at the same time that "the ministry continues to work according to what is planned in implementation of the directives of Prime Minister Mohammed Shiaa al-Sudani to end the displacement file in the country completely."
