Jerusalem - Ma'an - Today, Wednesday, the occupation forces arrested dozens of Palestinians at the Zaim checkpoint east of Jerusalem, under the pretext of trying to illegally enter the city. The police said in a statement that they arrested 41 Palestinians at the Zaeem checkpoint in two separate incidents, the first an attempt to enter 6 workers in a vehicle driven by a woman, and the second an attempt to enter 35 workers in a truck, and all of them were arrested. Eyewitnesses explained that the occupation forces tied up all the workers, forced them to sit on the ground "squat" with their faces against a wall, and prevented them from raising their heads. The witnesses added that the forces assaulted the workers by beating and pushing them several times during their detention, and prevented them from moving for more than an hour under the sun.
