Djiboutian President Ismail Omar Guelleh stressed the need to take a firm Arab position regarding the Israeli war of genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, provide protection for civilians, and ensure that aid reaches the people. In his speech before the 33rd Arab Summit held in Manama today, Guelleh said that the Israeli entity is committing the most heinous crimes against the Palestinian people... and the genocidal war must be stopped, and the Palestinians must be supported to obtain all their rights. He called for the necessity of reviving the peace process in Palestine on the basis of the two-state solution, and ensuring full membership of Palestine in the United Nations. He also called for a safe and sustainable ceasefire in Gaza, reiterating his country's rejection of the forced displacement of Palestinians from their lands. In his speech, the President of Djibouti touched on the Sudanese crisis, warning that it heralds a disaster whose repercussions will affect the entire region . He also touched on the crises in Yemen and Libya, considering that they require joint Arab action to avoid catastrophic repercussions, the consequences of which no one can predict.
