Baghdad, The Ministry of Interior announced, today, Tuesday, the arrest of 30 people accused of drug trafficking in Diwaniyah Governorate during the current week. The Ministry said in a statement: 'During a qualitative operation carried out this week, after collecting information by certain sources, the intelligence detachments were able to arrest 30 people accused of drug trafficking in different areas of Diwaniyah Governorate, where they seized various quantities and tools used for drug use.' It added, 'The necessary legal measures have been taken against them and they have been properly arrested.' Source: National Iraqi News Agency
