The command stated in a statement, 'Following the statement of the air strike that was carried out yesterday, Monday, by F-16 aircraft, according to accurate intelligence information from the Directorate of Military Intelligence, in coordination with the targeting cell of the Joint Operations Command, a joint force of heroes from the 1st Infantry Division and intelligence detachments from the heroes of the Battalion came out today, Tuesday The division's reconnaissance to inspect the location of the air strike on the outskirts of Al-Azim Dam within the Diyala Operations Command sector. It added, "The force found (3) bodies, including the body of one of the leaders of ISIS terrorist gangs. They also found destroyed terrorist nests, evidence of crime, technical and logistical materials, and other mater ials."
