The death toll from Monday's Israeli air strikes on southern Lebanese towns rose to 182, according to the Lebanese Health Ministry. The ministry said in an update that the day's raids left 182 people dead and injured 727, including children, women and medics. The figures are on top of dozens killed and thousands injured in an Israeli missile strike in Beirut and remotely-triggered pager and walkie-talkie blasts across Lebanon last week.
