The Babylon Police Command announced the arrest of 17 wanted persons and seized violations in various areas of the governorate. Babylon Police Information Director, Brigadier General Adel Al-Husseini, said, 'Detachments from the division Directorates, in partnership with other security services, were able to arrest 15 wanted persons according to various legal articles in a wide security campaign.' He added that the martyr Colonel Salam Shannon's checkpoint detachments arrested a person wanted for a theft crime in accordance with Article 443 of the Penal Code, while the martyr Colonel Khalil Shalal's checkpoint detachments arrested another wanted person in accordance with Article 405/31 of the Penal Code.
